Our investment committee selects the ETFs according to strict criteria and combines them perfectly. We review the ETFs regularly and make adjustments if better ones enter the market.

Sustainable ETFs on your path to more financial freedom

It is important to us to be able to stand behind the investments we make. In order to take social and environmental values into account, we use ESG Screened ETFsfor equity investments outside Switzerland in all our findependent investment solutions.

We are constantly monitoring whether an ESG Screened ETF is also becoming established for the Swiss market. In this case, we would replace our Swiss equity ETFs with the more sustainable variant.

No critical sectors

Companies from the following sectors are consistently excluded from ESG Screened ETFs:

Nuclear power
Coal power, coal mining
Oil-sand mining
Tobacco industry
Nuclear, controversial (e.g. cluster munitions) and civilian weapons

Furthermore, all must abide by the UN Global Compact.

Direct entry as a clever option: Of course, you can also start directly at the Grow level with at least 2,000 francs.

What are the current interest rates for investments?

The performance of an ETF investment is shown as a return, which replaces the traditional interest rate that you are probably familiar with from your bank account. The findependent investment solution “brave” has a historical annual return of 5.9%, net of all costs.

Is gold a good investment at the moment?

We do not recommend investing in just one asset class. Gold and precious metals are weighted at 10% in our investment solutions “careful” and “cautious”. We believe that gold brings additional stability to an already broad-based investment solution.

Is now the right time to invest?

No one can reliably predict the future. In the past, however, the motto “time in the market beats market timing” has prevailed. It is therefore much more important to start investing now than to wait forever trying to find the right time. We have also written a detailed blog post on this topic.

What is the best investment?

The best investment depends on factors such as your life situation, total assets and investment horizon. Put simply, the higher the proportion of shares, the greater the fluctuations in value and the higher the return.
