Sustainable ETFs

There are different approaches to sustainability when investing.

When putting together your own investment solution, you can therefore also choose from various sustainable ETFs. On the one hand, there are those that are screened according to such as SRI ETFsor ESG Screened ETFsOn the other hand, there are ETFs where you can invest in a specific “green” theme.

ESG rating

Measuring the sustainability of investments is difficult. MSCI’s ESG rating offers a point of reference.

MSCI analyses to what extent the companies of an ETF, for example, are exposed to the specific ESG risks of their industry and how they manage these risks – compared to other companies in their industry. In this way, they receive a rating from “CCC” (laggard) to “AAA” (leader).

We believe that ESG screening should always be taken into account in addition to the ESG rating. This is because in markets where sustainability standards are generally not very advanced, ETFs that reflect them may not achieve a high rating despite the screening.

Therefore, we mark every ETF that is ESG-screened with one and in addition we assign one , respectively two for an ESG rating of “AA” or “AAA”.

Here you’ll find the ETFs that made the cut. Our investment committee has carefully examined and thoroughly vetted them based on strict criteria. Twice a year, we review everything in detail and regularly add exciting new ETFs, so your investment solution can grow with you.
